When we first moved to the Mendocino Coast, we found extremely good chocolate made locally. We loved that chocolate and loved that we were supporting a local business. Sadly, the chocolate maker quit making chocolate. Nothing else we found tasted as good.

We learned to make chocolate at home. It was the best chocolate we ever tasted. We were eating chocolate that was freshly made, not chocolate that had been on a shelf for a year.

We started sharing our chocoate with friends and family. They said it was the best chocolate they had ever tasted and we should go into business selling that chocolate. So we did!

We make chocolate because chocolate makes people happy. We love to see the smiles on people's faces when they bite into our chocolates!
